Art By KD Berthelet
Artist Statement
When creating landscape or still life, my wish is the viewer feels they are there in that moment, feeling the wind, or sipping the tea.
When painting a portrait, it is not only the likeness of the subject that needs to be caught, their personality must also shine through.
When adding a touch of whimsy, or drama, it must be tangible when being viewed.
My hope is to capture the elements that are within, waiting to be discovered.
